Its been a while. Actually its been more than 5 years now. I used to write regularly on a blog. Then something happened. Things changed. Both personally, professionally and mentally.
I stopped writing. Motivation seized. For a while.....until now.
Feels like I have a spring in my steps again. And its spring time in the USA as well. It's March already and the weather seems to be opening up..
A lot has happened in last 5 years.
Modi is India's PM now. He is now into his second year! Yay!
Obama is in his last year of Presidency. Boo... But he was a great President. No doubt.
Indian media is back at it again. The NDTVs, The Outlooks, The Hindus, The Telegraphs.. they are having a field day in India. Manufacturing one "controversy" after another. And seems like BJP in general and Amit Shah in particular is clueless. He don't have no wherewithal to deal with this beast called Indian Media..
And Modi has removed his eyes from the ball. I think he has lost the plot. And how?
Man you would think he would be on a roll. But his honeymoon period was punctured by Kejriwal within a year and Lalu and Nitish rubbed some serious salt on his wounds in Bihar later in 2015.
18 months is too much time in politics. Is BJP ready to fight the 21st century battles. Is it equipped to take on the Indian Expresses and the NDTVs of the world. I don't think so. And there in lies a part of India's tragedy. There's but one party who is standing like a lotus in the muddy water. But that party is the most ill-equipped to taken on the media mafia which is funded by ... ahem.. never mind.
I will dedicate much of my writing on this very subject I guess. Till then..
